GoSwiftFund LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("GoSwiftFund", "we", "us"), operates goswiftfund.com, a financial technology platform and marketplace that connects small businesses with third-party financing providers. GoSwiftFund is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Business information: business legal name, EIN, time in business, average monthly revenue, ownership percentage, requested funding amount, and loan purpose.
Owner information: legal name, date of birth, Social Security Number, phone number, email address, and your self-reported estimated credit score range.
Bank account information: when you connect your business checking account through Plaid, we receive account and transaction information from your bank, as described in the Plaid section below.
Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and similar data collected through cookies and analytics tools.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process your application, verify your identity and business, evaluate your cash flow, match you with financing providers, communicate with you about your application, prevent fraud, comply with law, and improve our services.
Bank Connections Through Plaid
GoSwiftFund uses Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to gather your data from financial institutions. By using our service, you grant GoSwiftFund and Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from your relevant financial institution. You agree to your personal and financial information being transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy, available at https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy. GoSwiftFund never sees or stores your online banking username or password.
How We Share Your Information
We share your application information with the financing providers you are matched with, only after you authorize it on the application. We also share information with service providers that help us operate the platform (such as hosting, database, email, and analytics providers) under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
Credit Information
With your written authorization on the application, GoSwiftFund and its lending partners may obtain your consumer credit report for pre-qualification purposes under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Pre-qualification uses a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score. A hard inquiry happens only if you accept a formal offer from a lending partner.
Communications
If you give consent on the application, we and the financing providers you are matched with may contact you by phone, text message (SMS), or email about your application and related offers. Consent is not a condition of obtaining any loan or service. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text or by emailing support@goswiftfund.com.
Data Security
We protect your information with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Social Security Numbers and bank access tokens are encrypted before storage (AES-256), and access to application data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@goswiftfund.com. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional privacy rights; we will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business owners aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
